• Review data, documents, reports, information, design parameters, design details, and drawings provided as part of the Schedules of the Agreement and examine the adequacy of various elements of the Works in terms of the design requirements. Provide technical assistance to the contractor for preparing variation proposals in the scope of work of the Contractor.
• Visit the Worksite after the appointment of VECS by the Contractor and carry out a detailed reconnaissance and road inventory survey to appreciate the topographical features and typical physical features along the project site. Submit a reconnaissance and road inventory survey report to the Contractor, highlighting any major deviations from the information in the Agreement.
• Prepare and present a detailed Design Brief for the various components of the designs for the contractor's understanding and approval of the design concepts and methodology from the Contractor.
• Prepare, submit, and obtain reviews/approvals of all designs and drawings from the Authorities and issue all drawings as GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, marked- stamped-signed as such to the Contractor;
